Dear Parents,
Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year! I am honored to serve the Vandalia-Butler community as the principal at Demmitt Elementary. I look forward to partnering with you in supporting the academic growth, well-being, and success of every student at Demmitt Elementary. This is my first year as the principal at Demmitt Elementary. I look forward to getting to know all of the students and families.
The mission of the staff at Demmitt Elementary is to empower students to reach their full potential as they become lifelong learners. We will always set the bar high and push the students to reach their full potential while creating a positive and safe learning environment. We will provide the best education possible while also teaching meaningful life lessons.
I encourage you to become a member of our PTO, volunteer for school activities, and help in the classroom whenever possible. You can stay connected by reading school Parent Square messages, visiting our website, and reading information that is sent home. If you ever have questions, concerns or ideas to share, please do not hesitate to reach out. My door is always open.
